As the Riot client doesn't offer a way to uninstall games, you will need to do it manually. In this article, we will guide you through the process of uninstalling Valorant.
Doing breaks from gaming is a normal thing to do. Focusing on studies, work or anything else related to our vital life duties should always be a priority. In case you were trying to uninstall the game from the client and failed to find the option don't worry, we got you covered.
Uninstalling The Game
The one thing that is funny about Valorant is that the Riot client doesn't have an option to uninstall the game. Almost like they don't ever want you to stop playing their masterpiece shooter. The only way of uninstalling the game is by doing it manually, by both uninstalling Riot Vanguard and Valorant itself. You can do it with the following steps:
- Click CTRL+S and type Add or Remove programs and afterwards press Enter
- Find Riot Vanguard, click the three dots on the right side and click on Uninstall
- After successfully uninstalling Riot Vanguard, search for Valorant in Add or Remove Programs, and uninstall it the same way
If you're planning to play like League of Legends it is not necessary to delete Riot Vanguard, but if you are only playing Valorant, you can uninstall both as it will just sit on your PC without a need. Valorant can be time-consuming and we oftentimes find ourselves procrastinating with our studies or work duties which makes us forced into making breaks or quitting the game.
