steel is one of American Valorant's most iconic players, with a decent background in other FPS games. He currently plays for Team Disguised in the VCT NA Challengers League, focusing on a Controller role with Agents like Omen and Astra. Let's check out his setup, and perhaps get a little inspired, as some of these settings are truly interesting.

Scoped Sensitivity1
Windows Sensitivity6

steel is the opposite of players like ScreaM in the case of mouse settings: he likes to have his DPI set high and Sensitivity set relatively low. Interestingly, it wasn't always the case; back in the CS:GO days, it was the other way around, which is kind of counter-intuitive in terms of muscle memory. But, well, it seems like it works for him!

Secondary Weapon2
Melee Weapon3

Ability 2F
Ability 3C
Ultimate AbilityX

The only changes in steel's keybinds are related to abilities. Adjusting keybinds is actually one of the most important things to take care of in terms of improving the comfort of your gameplay, and you should come up with a setup that is most comfortable for you.

Minimap Size1.1
Minimap Zoom0.9
Minimap Vision ConesOn

We would say that these map settings are considered to be the most optimal for the majority of the players, and this is the most common setup we can see among pros. Your minimap size and zoom settings may differ depending on what kind of display you're using, but generally speaking, these exact radar settings will be perfect for most of you.

If you have ever watched steel's live stream on Twitch, you may have noticed that his gameplay looks a bit better compared to other players, and if you look at his settings, you know why. He just doesn't go for the lowest settings as most players, probably because he cares about providing a nice visual experience for his viewers. We think that these settings are a great balance if you want to achieve relatively high FPS values and a nice-looking gameplay, which could be interesting if you are a Valorant content creator.
