Valorant Maps Ranked: Best to Worst Tier List

Valorant Bind Ranked

1. Bind

The best maps are toe to toe making for a hard ranking decision. But the best map in Valorant ranked S-tier is Bind. Almost all maps have a middle section, and which side takes control of it has an 80% chance to win the round. Not Bind though, by having 2 entry points for attackers on each site. This creates less stressful situations, making Bind one of the best maps to play on, especially with your Riot gun buddy. And let's not forget one of the most interesting features: the teleporters with which you can cross a map instantly! | © Riot Games

Valorant Ascent Ranked

2. Ascent

Right after Bind, we have the S-tier ranked Valorant map Ascent. Jam-packed action with important team decisions, now that's what Ascent's all about. Every weapon can shine on Ascent, with short-range corridors for Phantoms and a wide-range mid for Operators. Though team composition on Ascent is really important since you can get mowed down by flankers or lurking defenders without information. Though the most interesting part about Ascent is the doors, giving the players a choice to close off entire angles and openings! | © Riot Games

Valorant Haven Ranked

3. Haven

Coming in hot and third is the A-tier ranked Valorant map Haven. In many tactical shooters, you only get 2 attacking sites. But Riot Games threw the towel and said: what about 3? So we got Haven, with 3 sites to overlook. Now some players may find this appealing with having more decisions in gameplay, especially with KAY/O. But other players don't have the right set of mind to think about 3 sites and be afraid every moment if there's an enemy flanker/lurker. So in terms of strategy, Haven is heaven. But in terms of chill, Haven is hell! | © Riot Games

Valorant Icebox Ranked

4. Icebox

In fourth place is the B-tier ranked Valorant map Icebox. You may get angry why it isn't Split, but hear me out. Icebox thrives when it comes to team strategy and wide-angles. Some people may say that there are too many angles to watch out for, but that's why Controllers exist. If you're playing solo, Icebox is one of the most painful maps putting you in constant stress and fear of the unknown, aka Duelists. But if you're playing with friends or a good team, the strategies to over-smart the enemies are too much and too perfect. | © Riot Games

Valorant Split Ranked

5. Split

At fifth place, with an inch right next to Icebox is the B-tier ranked Valorant map Split. Split is the polar opposite of Icebox, where team strategies don't pose a high threat and playing solo is chill. Where Split lacks is when it comes to angles and openings. The map treats defenders like they're gods, giving the attacking side only 1 entry into the site. You may argue mid-control is what's all about for attackers, but let's be honest, Split favors defenders in mid too. One Operator and Sentinel's agent utility equals mid-control becoming a literal cowboy wasteland. | © Riot Games

Pearl Loading Screen

6. Pearl

As the latest addition to Valorant entering in Episode 5, we've got the B-Tier ranked Valorant map Pearl. Now don't get me wrong, the map has the potential to climb up to A-Tier, but it isn't just that well suited for beginners. It has a lot of openings and chances for flanks and lurking while having tight-nit camping spots that'll punish the players if they don't check them. Pearl is a great map, but it requires a lot of game sense to understand its strategies. It doesn't have any special features, but it has all the essentials well-made like 1 short and 1 long site making Pearl 6th place. | © Riot Games

Valorant Breeze Ranked

7. Breeze

Now we're entering the bad side of Valorant with the C-tier ranked map Breeze. If you're a one-trick Jett Operator user, you'll love Breeze. Other than that, prepare to slam your face into your monitor to see 2 pixels of enemies because Breeze is too wide. Every single constant angle is so far it's measured in light-years. The map is just too long, rendering some agents useless, even some smokers Controllers. Had Riot Games given us at least 2+ short-range corridors, Breeze "may" have been a good map, the keyword being may. | © Riot Games

Valorant Fracture Ranked

8. Fracture

Don't act like you didn't see this coming. At dead-last we have D-tier ranked Valorant map Fracture. Riot Games said: imagine if attackers could flank, and put in an extra 1000+ entries front and back for defenders to watch out on every site. Fracture favors attackers A LOT. Compensating the defenders with a quick way to rotate wasn't enough. Probably not even pros know what's going on in Fracture. And they thought they could trick us with a big zip line across the map thinking we'd be excited like children on trampolines, but nope, they only gave us PTSD. | © Riot Games

Riot games know how to hit the sweet spot with some Valorant maps, while others can be borderline unbearable. Some Valorant patch notes release good map changes, but that's it. That's why we've compiled a Best to Worst map tier list for Valorant. So let's take a look at all Valorant maps ranked!
