The patch notes for upcoming update 7.09 contain interesting nerfs and buffs that seem to be very welcomed by most players. Not only does the Judge cause jump scares, but the weapon is also quite powerful in certain situations and can sometimes wipe out the entire enemy team. So players are especially happy about the upcoming Judge nerf, but also the Raze nerfs and Cypher buffs are going over well with players.

Raze & Judge Nerfed While Cypher Buffed

Judge Nerfs

Jumping and running while shooting with the Judge has been nerfed, but the damage remains the same. That means we are still not safe from corner-camping Judge players. Check your corners, guys!

Raze Nerfs

Raze has received several major nerfs since her release and yet she, along with Jett, remains a must-pick duelist for several maps. These are the nerfs Raze is getting with the new act:

So the Satchels can no longer deal instant damage and her grenade damage and radius have also been reduced. Taking the Judge nerf into account, maybe flying Razes won't be as successful with the Judge anymore.

As a Killjoy main, I am very pleased with these changes, as it will make it more difficult for a Raze to destroy my setup. Cypher mains have a reason to celebrate as well. Not only is the Raze nerf at the same time a buff for Cypher, but he has also received some additional love from Riot.

Cypher Buffs

With Killjoy being dominant in the Sentinel meta, these Cypher buffs might bring about some changes. The Cypher setup has been buffed and now you need to be especially cautious about where you step. Additionally, Skye's 'dog' can no longer activate tripwires if they are placed at a medium height; it can only do so when they are positioned at foot level.

I don't how know about you folks, but even before these changes, I felt like a fly constantly getting caught in Cypher's cages. Maybe I'm just a klutz, though.

Hi, I'm Ina! Since I'm writing here a lot about Valorant, it makes sense that I'm a passionate gamer in my personal life as well. My love-hate relationship with Valorant has been going on for about a year and a half now. We've had our ups and downs. Occasionally, I also play MMOs for some nostalgic fun....
